Education: Building Knowledge for a Cleaner, Healthier Canada
Advocacy & Government Partnerships

At CSHEA, we believe education is the foundation for long-term environmental health and septic system safety. That’s why we’re committed to equipping both homeowners and industry professionals with clear, practical, and science-based information.

We actively lobby for policy changes that prioritize practicality, affordability, and environmental protection. This includes reducing or eliminating permit fees, advocating for subsidies to support low-income families, and working to ensure that septic regulations strike a balance between environmental safety and financial accessibility.

Our partners

Failing septic systems don’t just affect one property they impact entire communities. They pollute lakes, streams, and drinking water, cause costly environmental damage, and put public health at risk.
